First off - Welcome to the forum!

As long as you had nodes below that part you’ll be fine. In fact it looks like you more or less topped it, which most do in conjunction with LST. In a day or two you should see new shoots emerging from the nodes below the “cut”.
In effect, you just created more shoots/branches for future budsites.

The sprig looks healthy enough so you should be fine!

Best of Luck to you!!

You’ll be fine. You basically did a different form of topping! The highest nodes will grow like crazy now.

That’s what you call a OMG moment.
Even if it’s an auto flower you’ll be fine

Welcome to the forum. Yeah, like others said, you basically topped the plant. No real harm so long as you have enough nodes below the cut you will be fine.

You can plant that cutting like a clone and grow it out.

The same as everyone has said. I will add, take it as a benefit of unintended consequence. You effectively topped her. Watch how the growth points immediately below the break grow out. The plant will now have two main stems = colas rather than only one. In my book that is a positive. The side branches below the growth points will also grow more in their attempt to replace the broken stem. This leads to a wider and flatter canopy than it would have had otherwise. Another positive.
Take a side shot of the entire plant. Curious what she look like.

She looks good. I wanted to see how big she is and if I could see the two top growth tips. They were easy to find because they were already good sized. I marked them with a yellow line.

I see you started LST and are spreading out the branches. Good start.
Couple things. Forgive me it I am too basic. Just want to point out the growth pattern. Where a leaf stem grows out from the main stem, a growth point is immediately above it. This is what will eventually grow flowers. Also note how they grow opposite from each other. If you only have four leaf stems and growth tips they would divide a circle in four equal quadrants. I point this out because, if you have more than four, rather than 4 pieces of pie, each will have to be cut it half for each additional pair.
The two growth tips I marked look like they are ready to be gently bent over. Do it a little at a time. You will also have to find a spot to tie them down. You may have to bend them to the side to avoid the branch growing below it. (Pie analogy)
Good learning experience.

She’s looking good. Maybe a little heat stressed(?) - the edges of her fan leaves look a little “extra serrated.” Usually happens when there’s a little too much direct heat on the leaves. Do you have a fan in there creating a bit of a breeze above your canopy yet?

Btw it’s pretty much a textbook “top.” Nothing to be nervous about. :v: welcome aboard, you’re in good hands here.

I accidentally did the same thing.

7 weeks ago, the one on the left broke off almost exactly the same node as yours. I freaked out too. The one on the right didn’t. And as you can see, it’s turning out even better than the intact one.

Consider it a blessing in disguise. Just LST and train it out sideways.

Would you recommend cutting the fan leaves ?

In my opinion, your plant will rebound pretty quickly… just wait until the beg of flowers…and then pull the bottom 1/3 leaves off gradually over a 2 or 3 weeks period of flowering

Looks almost like a knuckle on a manifold / mainline

Even if it dont have any nodes it will still root like a clone? Im new to this and my top just broke like his did
