I purchased PH Perfict Technology Micro, Grow, Bloom. The grow support dude gave me the following schedule. Week 1 -1/4 teaspoon of each per quart of water. Week 2 -1/2 tsp per quart. Week 3 - 3/4 tsp per quart. Week 4 and foward - 1tablespoon per gallon of water. Water/feed every 2 to 3 days. He said to use this schedule unless the plants act adversely, in which case skip a feeding and give the plant 1 day of water only, then continue with the schedule. Has anyone used these products? Thanks in advance for the advice.
Following feeding charts has lost me more than a few grows.
I did FINALLY understand the thing to do is start at 20% of feeding schedules and work up very slowly. Learn to “read the leaves”. Wrinkled, curled, quick color change mean too much.
It’s important to be careful with the nutriants.
i use nothing but ph perfect and love it! Start slow and youll be rocking in no time! Good luck
Btw…you do have a PH and PPM meter set…don’t you?
Welcome to the forum @Friar. I am with the @tanlover442 recommendation. After my plants have established their roots and had a chance to consume what amendments are in my soil (if any), I begin adding nutrients at 1/4 dosage. I may increase or decrease the dosage as the plant matures by watch the the ppms of the runoff to get a sense of how much nutes or salts are in my medium; as wellas watch the leaves for signs of deficiencies.
In my first grow I went full strength right away and it really messed up my plants. Less is better.
pH and ppm maintenance are king.
Good luck.
Here is my Advanced Nutrients feeding schedule. You’ll notice that the first couple weeks of each stage start with a small amount of nutrients and build up progressively. Also, note: you do not need to use all of these products, but the information is there should you choose to.
I am starting with 25% of the recommended nutrients. After one week I will increase. I ran a base line on my soil. Using water at a Ph of 6.4 my run off is Ph 6.7 and a
TDS of 721 ppm. While I understand the Ph and the need to stay under a Ph of 7, what am I looking for in the TDS ppm? Thanks in advance

Hi - I am in an amended coco/perlite that I treat as a soilless medium. I pH at 5.8. When I measure my TDS of the runoff, I like it to be around 1000ppm on average - a little lower when younger, a little higher when flowering. 1500-2500 is high. Over 2500 is the danger zone.
Watch n learn to read the leaves. Schedules are not important. Plant and it’s reaction is.
