First Time Ever Growing Anything

This is the first time I’ve grown anything in general. It is an indoor auto flower grow (Gorilla Glue). Please let me know what you think by a visual stand point. I know things aren’t perfect and some techniques used weren’t perfect but I think I did okay for my first ever. They currently sit at week 8.

Agreed.

Very appreciative @Dieselgrow1031 I’m trying to grasp so much at once but there is quite the lot of information haha. Just trying to soak it all in. ph has been on point while other times it ran low hard to pin point it perfect as for the ppm is seems to run high for me is it because it is an auto or is there more to the story appreciate any information give thanks for the kindness.

Remember, keep it simple, stupid. The kiss method. Keep the ph where it need to be and the ppm in range and you’ll be set. When the tips turn like that and don’t progress that means you are pushing them to their max without doing damage. And toul be getting the most out of the grow. One they start curling and the whole leaf is turning then you have a problem. Burnt tips isn’t anything to be worried about as long as your keeping your eye on the ppm and ph your good

Thank you @oldmarine I am just trying to do right . I’ve followed lots of guides and videos the best I could and read soooo much . Rather do it right the first time and learn the correct way.

@Dieselgrow1031 Noted!! thanks a bunch I’m doing photoperiods next seems like a whole new ball game but I plan on taking what I learned from these autos and transferring it over we’ll see what happens fingers crossed.

Photos are great. I dont even bother with autos with photos u can top and scrog. U can read my journal, hellraiser old marine has great grows and a few other people.

Awesome how would I get to your journal I’m super new to the website and just found out how to post haha. Still trying to figure out how to start a journal for these photos I started. Also yes I’d love to trying the whole topping techniques and what not they seem very interesting.,

They look great! Well done.
I noticed in one of the pics the leaves are all dotted with water droplets.
This should be avoided because the water drops will act as magnifying glass and use your bright lights to burn holes in your leaves.

You can top them very early on like once or twice. But with photos you can top as many times as you want then switch to flower. Autos u have no control. U can top one time then they could start flowering if they want to. Or hermie from the stress.

One thing you should know up front is there is no “right” way. There’s what works for me and what works for you and sometimes, never the twain shall meet.

I would not venture an opinion on your setup and grow past how nice they are. I don’t see anything but healthy growth, but some will find everything that could possible be wrong and nitpick your plants, your set up and your techniques. Even if you didn’t ask.

At this point, keep doing what you’re doing, It seems to be working

Some people will cringe with just the thought of any type of manipulation of a plant. Even photos. Others will gladly share their tells of extreme manipulation. How to twist and bend and yes, break.

As far as I’m concerned, spreading out that canopy is one of the smartest things I’ve seen a new grower do. You probably felt trepidation when you set out, but look at your results.

My mainlined Super Skunk before she went into flowering. 8" tall.

This is her just before harvest. 18" tall.

I harvested 10+ ozs from her.

@Docnraq thank you! Hmm damn I wont be doing that again anymore I would only do that on days where It was extremely hot just to keep the plants cool. Thanks for the information
