First Outdoor Grow after years of layoff

I had minimal luck growing indoors years ago. Lots of Spider Mite infestations. Now trying to grow outdoors using autoflower.

Will do. Thanks. I started about 2 weeks ago germinating and I have only been able to get 3 to go so far. I reached out to ILGM to get some replacements I hope. I followed my old procedure which follows ILGM identically. 24 to 36 hrs. water soak then directly into 3 parts peat moss, 3 parts worm casting and 1 part vermiculite. Always had good luck with this combo. I have put 5 more in soil after water soaking and have 5 more in water now.

Plan for success… keep throwing seeds into water until one sticks lol. ILGM is pretty good about customer service. And sometimes they are just a bit stingy with the starts

I started 4 autos in early June, had them in my greenhouse along with my photoperiods. They didn’t work very well, as I’d expected. I’m going to try an indoor grow over Christmas once my current outdoor one is done. Good luck with yours. :+1:t2::seedling:

Fixin to go get some more photos to upload. I read that if the roots get too hot that it can kill your youngins. We are cooking at about 100+ degress around here lately. I think I will pack soil around the seedlings container in hopes of keeping cool.

Photos of grow site and soil amendments.

Some herbs to curb pests.

Great start. I use Tansy as pest repellent, it works wonders. :+1:t2:

Sounds like a good addition for next year.

Thanks, I’m looking for simple input right now. Meaning some of the folks here are really advanced at their approach. One day I will experiment more.

I use the Alaska fish shit as well. Only thing that scares me with using it now is I’m growing California dream and it says it doesn’t take to well to high nitrogen. I run general hydroponics Lucas formula

Is that salt base? “general hydroponics Lucas formula”

2 of the Girls were stretching so far out they fell over. I have put them in the ground and propped up with a couple of wood chips. I didn’t want to risk killing them trying to prop them up in the seedling container.
