First Indoor Grow, a few problems Maybe

I was told 3 years ago that they had done all the adjustments to my glasses they could until I could get the surgery. I have another year before Medicare so I’m hoping to make it to then. And yes, the past few months I’ve noticed my vision getting worse. I’m going to end up going to either Omaha or Lincoln as there’s no one local. I can check about what your wife did but I really don’t have any spare $$’s at the moment. I’m also waiting to see what happens re: Obamacare. I had an ear infection and got turned away from 2 local doctors as I have no insurance :face_with_symbols_over_mouth:
I don’t drive during low light or at night and avoid high traffic areas. That’s why it was so awesome yesterday when I got to go to Omaha with my friend driving :grimacing:

My eyesight isn’t all that great, but I can spot amber trichomes pretty easy. It’s like a gold miner sniffing out gold! lol @SmoknGranny @cyberblast

@bob31 Thats what I figured. You think I am good to flush tomorrow or next day and then wait a few days and then split? Or should I just flush and wait a few days then cut? Watcha think? Your eyes gotta be better than both me and smokygranny. I can see the ambers though.

@SmoknGranny Yea, my wife went through that and we or I have medicare, but she didnt qualify on my account. Disabled vet and had gotten my medicare. So we just started calling the specialists for this. Only had 2 in the area. So called them, took wife in and paid for the appontment but then we negotiated. All you can do. Even do that when you get medicare. Just like when I had my open heart surgery. Talking about a million bucks total. No way could I afford that. So negotiated with doc and hosp. Medicare and va covered a good portion and they forgave the rest. Lucky for me. Whats the use of being alive and not afford it.

After the first of the year I may try calling CHI. They have a satellite hospital and offices in Nebraska City. I trust them much more than the folks in Omaha or anyone associated with the university.
Thanks for @bob31 for chiming in:clap:t2: Get your dry room ready :grimacing:. I’m thrilled for you!!!

@SmoknGranny My dry room is going to be the grow room converted. Since they all are going to be drying at the same time, makes it easy. Just have to get them ready. Flush, wait, split, wait, then cut. Just not sure for how long of each. Whatcha think? You too @bob31

Without looking at my notes I think it’s 24-48 hours in the dark after the split. I think @daz49 has been doing this

@daz49 has it down to a science.

I look. I see amber. I chop.

I do stop giving them nutrients the week before and just plain water to the end and I cut them down. I know the 48 hours darkness is pretty standard practice now.

I can’t go total darkness cause I have other plants in my tent!

After the stemsplit I usually do 2 days in the light as usual and then 2 days of total darkness and then harvest, some do it different so this is just me

no wrong way to do any of this stuff imo! @daz49 @SmoknGranny @cyberblast

How long do you think I should give them without nutes before I should chop? I dont want them to get too heavy in the amber. @bob31 @daz49 And before I split them. You can see the amber in them now. Looks like about 10 percent. Dont want it too heavy that way if I can help it. Been a week since I really got a close look at them so was very surprised at how much they changed.

about 3.4 days since I gave em nutes

you can go one of three routes @cyberblast but usually stop nutes the week before harvest

You can water them to runoff with plain ph water 2 or 3 times

You can flush them with plain ph water once using 3x the pot size or you can use a product made for flushing like FF Sledgehammer

So how would you recommend doing it then @bob31

With the flush? I do the three ph waterings over the week time frame. @daz49

But I think they’re all good!

I like the way you end your grows

@Laurap this is weird really. Two people see no amber, 3 others see a bunch. Gotta wonder That is just weird though, dontcha think? Somebodies eyes are wrong…but who’s? I do trust your word there Laura, for sure. But also trust the othrs. So dont know what to do right now. Will wait a couple of days. Just going to give them water for now, no more nutes anyway. That is time.

Boo, i looked again & you do have a lil amber. Water only for at least a week, split your stem, go thru darkness & Harvest!! Think by then your trichs will be perfect. Yippee, let me know your yield. Congratulations, you did it my friend!
All thats left is to get ready to drop some more beans & do it again.

@SmoknGranny @Myfriendis410 @daz49 @bob31 @Alton66 Okay folks, have decided I did a flush this morning with Fox Farms Sledgehammer brew and the fresh ph water to runnoff. Our water is well water provided by the city and is almost perfect ph and sometimes is a little low. Easy to bring up though. No clorine that I can detect. I guess since they get it from a deep well, not needed. Plus the city is cheap. It was a private well they took over.

Anyway, going to water for the next week, at least 5 or 6 days anyway. Then going to split go 48 in the dark and then harvest. So about Sat next weekend to split, then monday even to cut and hang. And of course going to try some trim then of course. The buds on these plants are so sticky I cant touch them without getting it all over my hand.

And the two clones I took off the gold leaf are going great guns. The slightly smaller one has got so many buds coming out it is amazing. From base to top…buds and bud sites. The other clone is a bit taller but not so many buds coming out or as big, but it does have alot starting and looks like more sites coming. Its still growing taller so expect it will produce more. Just a week behind the smaller one as far as flowering. It was the shorter one.

Will take some more photos in a few days of the clones. They just doing good. Have to move them when I cut the primary plants. Since this tent will be going dark. So have to make room again in the sativa grow tent.

I have offered to send Robert most of the seeds that I have from the sativa type. I hope they take me up on it and then they will have them to experiment with. No charge or trade. free and clear except for how they are doing. I just want someone to get some use out of them. Otherwise come spring will just scatter them in a corner of my place and let em go. Got way too many to use otherwise. And they are very healthy seeds.
Regular seeds so will grow males.

I just split the stem yesterday on the Jack Herer but I’m giving it 7 days before cutting it down.
