Im in a 4x2 tent, mars hyrdo 600w. Using a good mix of FFOF,HF, and perlite. Havent started any nutes yet! Theyre bout 12 days old

I grow in FFOF, love it! Sounds like youâre on your way.
Couple tips take it or leave it.
Water till good runoff allowing a few days to dry out between.
Ph and ppm meters are essential to growing.
Test your water.
Do scheduled flushes during grow period as Fox Farms stuff builds up salt frequentlyâŠ
Just a couple things I learned the hard way in FF soil.

. You are off to a great start. My only concern is your light. I have a mars hydro 600. It is a great little light but you will most likely need more light for two plants.

Hey @Bakethat747 , Welcome as well. Great place to learn.
I have 3 mars hydro lights. 2 ts1000 and an old Sp150. All are older tech diodes like your TS600. Not terrible lights and will do a good job. You will probably wind up upgrading to more/better lights but the ts600 will make a great seedling and early veg light. For now you are good. I agree its a 1 plant light at best. You can grow 2 plants but they will be more lanky and stretched out. Check with the forum for advice before buying any additional lights if you decide to do that. There is a lot, and I mean A LOT of false advertising about lights and all out lying by some companies about their lights. We have several great lighting members who can help. Mars hydro is like the Dodge Dart of lights. Good reliable lights, but there are much better choices. And I say this as a Mars Hydro owner. I also owned a Dodge Dart years agoâŠLol.
This is a great family of growers and unlike other forums nobody will find fault or bash you for your decisions. I learned everything about how to grow successfully right here.

Iâd suggest 2 TS-1000 and no more than 2 plants in a 2x4.

Check out green beams as well. They have a 240w for $160. I have one in a 2x4 and I just veg and flowered two autos in 5 gallon pots no problem!! Just good for thought

My android âphotonâ app canât measure above 33KLux or 1050 PPFD
Light meter purchased on Amazon, agrees with âHLG has good lightsâ.
The HLG 350R is better than my Vipar Spectra V1200 (580 watts)âŠ
I have both, the 350 is the champ and I have six little ladies into flower, loving it,
