First Grow need major help

What’s up guys I’m in need of major help please! It’s my first grow and I’m trying out GG4. Bought 4 clones and I’m currently on day 12 of veg and the girls aren’t really growing much at all. I can’t seem to get the watering cycle down for one, and I’m not sure if I killed my plants by adding hydrogen peroxide in them to air out the soil. I’m using Fox Farms Happy Frog as my medium. I added the Hydrogen peroxide on Saturday and after 2 hours passed, the plants wilted pretty bad. I raised the lights and prayed they wouldn’t die. They started to stand back up but their leaves don’t look good at all. And one still looks pretty droopy. What can I do?

Welcome to the forum great people around to help you.

Am not sure about adding hydrogen peroxide to watering.

What kind of environment are they growing in?

How often and how much watering are you giving them?

Thank you! I’m extremely excited to be able to learn from you guys here, no doubt. I’m growing indoors, I’ll post a pic of my current set up. I’ve been watering almost everyday, giving them 4 cups each the last week and a half. I’ve watered 5 out of the last 7 days. Yesterday I watered them with 3 cups because I thought they still felt somewhat moist from when I gave them the hydrogen peroxide the day before (which a friend of mine said would help idk) he has some experience so I just trusted him with that. Some background info is that I’ve been adding lights also so idk if the adding of lights have affected the girls also. And on day 11 I changed the light schedule from 18:6 to 24:0 once I got in my newest light which is the spider farmer sf 1000

I would stop water every day. Plants that size pint to a quart every 3 days would be plenty. Also 18/6 would be a good light schedule. You’ll get the feel of watering by the weight of the pot you can tell when it’s dried out. As far as the hydrogen peroxide I don’t think I would continue that practice. Good luck my friend just my thoughts.

I hope those aren’t too far gone to come back. Don’t water again until completely dry. Then flush with some FF Sledgehammer. Don’t use peroxide again unless you know exactly what your doing with it and what its intended purpose is for because if done incorrectly it will kill all the good live organisms in your soil and the plant will have nothing to feed from. From the size of those plants you don’t need nowhere near that much light. Too much light can cause a deficiency as well, it throws of the environment. Hope this helps.

these are being grown under a $15 bulb for the first 4-5 weeks of their life. You don’t need much at first.

Dang! Alright, I’ve been getting the wrong information… been slacking on my reading so that’s a must. I need to catch up instead of taking wrong advice. That’s probably my first step. But okay dang, my best plan of attack here then is 1. Read my Grow bible 2. Let the pots fully dry out 3. Turn off the side panel LEDs for now and let the girls hopefully come back to life only under the sf 1000 ? I have the light dial on 80 too. Didn’t want to have it on max. I felt maybe that contributed to some burning. What do you guys see from the leaves though? Major nutrient burn? Just a waiting game now huh?

Usually with FFHF soil they don’t need to be fed anything for at least 3-4 weeks. I grew clones last year and when I first got them I gave 1/2 cup to 1 cup of water one every 3 days, but my pots were bigger than those. In that size pot I would do 1/4-1/2 cup every 2-3 days. They almost look ready to put into Forever pots…

Thank you guys, that’s what I’ve been thinking this whole time. That I’ve been over watering but been taking advice from someone else and they’ve been telling me I’m not watering enough. I’ve fed them already a couple times as well… with FF Grow Big and I followed the general feeding directions on the back because again, that’s what my “experienced” friend told me to do and EVEN THOUGH I freaking read to start off about 1/4 to 33% so I’m pretty sure I burned the girls a little too. Especially after the hydrogen peroxide was added. I haven’t fed them grow big since Thursday.

There’s that old saying, sometimes Less is More. That definitely applies to watering and feeding these girls.

Thank you so much you guys! Major help, I’ll keep you all posted. I’ll post pics again in 2 days… hopefully they are solid by then. Was really hoping to transplant them to 5 gallon pots by Wednesday

Turned off the side LEDs and already I feel like the plants are saying THANK YOU JESUS. Hopefully this helps, now only have the middle light on and not at full power.

Drying out is a must. I almost skipped to the end of the thread when I saw how much you were watering them!
It looks like you’re in the right track now. Also make sure you have air constantly circulating around your plants and vent the air. It’ll help with drying and then address your concerns with feeding!
Keep updating with pictures!

Good morning everyone! @kellydans @BRFarming420 @Zee @Weedlvr0321 @OlyBoy98503 I’ve got updates! I was trying to reply last night but my limit was capped! Ha
Alright so yesterday I went ahead and turned off both LEDs on the sides as shown in the last pic and that has seemed to help a little. And I dialed down the power from max power to 80 on the spider farmer. Did not water or anything and just let them do their thing yesterday. They are starting to dry out but when I put my finger in the soil it still feels moist about an inch down. @kellydans so then next time I water them I should only give them half a cup of water each? And when should I water them? Really wait till they are completely dry? As in I put my finger a knuckle or two deep and it feels almost like sand or should it still be somewhat moist? @BRFarming420 I’m really hoping I don’t need to flush them. What do you think? What do you guys think about the leaves? They look like they’re really rotting away. But there is new growth on the tops so that’s a good sign right? @OlyBoy98503 yes sir I have 3 fans going right now. Two on opposites corners on top and one fan for the intake that is put together kinda janky. I’ll add pics of that too. Let me know what you guys think please! Just waiting around and watching them is killing me

I think your plants are going to fine With a couple of adjustments ! When you stick your finger in the pot and it’s still moist they don’t need water. Once I get rolling I usually water then wait 3 days water or feed again. The last three pictures plants are showing nute Burns. At this point I would only give them pH water. Also if you don’t have a pH meter and TDS meter. You are going to need both when the time comes to start watering to runoff you’re going to need to check your PPM to know when to feed and and how much. Also checking pH to stay in sweet spot range.

Okay awesome I thought they were looking better. Yes I do have both meters and I have been making sure that the pH is somewhere between 6.5 and 7 before I water them. How much water should I give them next time I water? Enough so that there’s runoff? When I gave them 3 cups last time there was no runoff

The three bigger plants if the pots are dry . I would probably go ahead and water in at 6.5 ph to run off. And check ppm numbers and pH numbers and make adjustments accordingly to get back on track and once you water to run off let the pots dry back out. Good luck
