Random question, what are the chances of getting pests in a hydro grow tent in my living room?

High if you have pests in your living room. Low if you don’t.

Also would it be harmful to myself to use c02 bags since the tent is in a common area?

No but CO2 is essentially useless unless you have a closed-loop system because it will exhaust out of the tent faster than your plants will make meaning use out of it. Your plants will get more CO2 from you breathing next to the intake port on the tent than from a co2 bag.
