First Grow in MA, Blue Dream

Have you tested run off ph ?
Since you said no change after giving nutes maybe you have ph lock out occurring?

Iron, nitrogen or zinc, maybe iron. Honestly, that is only a guess, you might want to ask Majiktoker or Macguyverstoner.

It could be nutrient lock out to, to much potash, or pottasium can do that.

there are a few micronutrients here showing those symptoms…

Hard to tell regular light would be better, but it almost looks phosphorus deficient @kabongster

tyvm! :grinning:

Yup my pleasure

Thanks to all for the useful input.

That picture showing the different deficiencies is the best I’ve seen so far, definitely useful. I realize I also seem to have some Nitrogen deficiency as I see some yellow leaves here and there at the bottom of all plants. I though it was normal because they don’t get much light at all, plants are pretty bushy.

It seems it could be deficiencies of different kinds (Iron, Zinc Manganese), or potassium excess, which is likely because I add potassium silicate on top of everything else, and there’s no run off water when I water.

Will water with more volume so there is ~20% run off, and will lower the potassium and up everything else, let’s see what happens. It’s curious its just that one plant, and still grows flowers just fine.

The one right next to it has some beautiful blueberry colored flowers and no problems. Pic here

Thanks !!, 3 other plants started turning purplish the last few weeks, but nothing close to that particular plant, its beatiful even the leaces look slightly different. Maybe is a different phenotype.

I have 3 cutting out of that plant that are striving to survive, not doing great. Hope I can keep them alive to save clones.

Hi guys this is what the girls look like today at day 33 of flowering, I think they are close to being done. The pistils started turning orange super fast, after only about 2-3 weeks of switching to 12/12. What do you you when one plant rippens faster than others ? you harvest at different times ? one is going faster, three are going similarly, and one is going super slow. This also coincides with their phenotype, the more blueberry like one (most purple one) is the fastest almost all pistils are orange, 3 plants with middle ground phenotype blue color are somewhere in between, and one plant that looks more sativa and has a green color now turning purplish being the slowest and taller plant, all pistils still white (is the taller plant in the middle of the bunch.

Also the buds on top seem to rippen faster, they have like 70-80 % orange pistils, while some buds down below are maybe only 20-30% orange. What do you do ? you harvest the top ones and leave the bottom ones ?

Checked the trichomes with a lens and they look great some clear and some milky, no amber trichomes yet so I assume they still need to go a few more days. Might flush soon and start adding only RO water.

The 5th picture down looks like it’s growing some bananas. You may want to check them all carefully.

Good luck…

I’d agree with @FloridaSon, looks like it’s starting to show some bananas there in that picture

bananas you mean seeds ? I also thought so but wasn’t sure. It is only that one plant. Shouldn’t it also have pollen sacs if it did turn hermaphrodite ? I inspected the plant and couldn’t find any signs of male organs or pollen sacs. I’m not very experienced this is my first grow ever.

@Hawkeye_diesel

Thanks for pointing that out. Here is a pic of that same plant where I looked at the lower nodes and tried to find any signs of male organs or pollen (wanted to prevent other plants from getting pollinated) but I couldn’t find anything obvious.

Those little banana looking things are the hermaphrodite flowers. Usually brought on by stress, though some will do it if allowed to bud too long.

Some say pick 'em as you see them. Personally I kill any sign of male. I grow for sinse as I believe a harvest is diminished as soon as a plant starts forming the seed.

Any seeds kept from these would pass on the hermie gene…
