First grow, does this training look right?

This is my first grow. A close friend of mine is guiding me. I have a 2x2x4 with a 600watt full spectrum light. Fan blowing.
My plant looked so beautiful and so semetrical. However Ive since fimmed it and started LST. I bent it over and shaping it a long the pot. I’m doing all the advice I can find on training. However nothing I see online shows a plant that looks like mine. Idk if I did something wrong. What do you peeps think? Is this a disaster or a success?
I’m going into week 5 of a photoperiod seed I started. I’m using happy frog, Fox farms trio, and cal mag. I also posted a photo of my girl before I started training. She was so beautiful. Now not so much… Not me . What do y’all say?

Also the strain is apple frittrfritte

Nice job Keep up with the LST She’ll get pretty again! Growing tip if you plan on bending plants over plant them to the outer side of the bag.

Your LST is fine that string is really tight on the stem don’t leave it on to long as it will cut in to the stem as it grows

Hahaha yeah definitely I thought about transplanting again at some point and putting it to one side. This was my first ever grow I didn’t know what to expect. Still dont. Next time I’ll definitely start on one side.

Thanks! I didn’t even think about that. I just cut it. You can see a line. But its not bad.

Yeah I didn’t think I was gonna go through with it. I just startd to bed it around so it fallows the curve of the pot instead. Lesson learned next time

You’re training was good just leave some room for the stem to grow I use horticultural wire pipe cleaner’s work well to.

I did a LST technique my second time manifolding. She went from this to being prettier.

I swear by these for LST. There is absolutely nothing better all around than these.

Theyre a little pricey but the value and versatility outweighs the cost by far. Probably the best investment ive made towards growing all around

This rubber coated wire works great too. Cheap and reusable.

Hi
I think your LST looks right on and a great start. Keep tying it down every few days to get it to spread.

I ordered a big wad of cheap chopsticks from Amazon. I think they are great for the first phase of LST before the plant gets too big. Easy to insert into the medium at a angle to push on a branch. If you want o move it the next day, easy to do. I also have “long” pipe cleaners (again, Amazon). The are easy to use and soft for training. I’ve also used the rubber coated wire. So, lots of options

The plants look a little awkward at first but as they grow they fill in.

You may wanna also research SCROG on line and YouTube. Easy to build a screen with 3/4 pvc and brick layers string (stretches).

My gf had some skewers. So I used a couple! I fimmed like a week or so ago. So I have three heads. I used them to separate and try to give them space!!!

Good start. I put them in at angles and move them as the plant reacts. I use the chop sticks with the pipe cleaners and coated wire. Whatever is the easiest for any branch.

Good luck. You will figure it out like I did. The fun part….experimenting

One other thing. Have you watched any YouTube videos on SCROG, LST, Topping, Fimmimg?

I watched a “bunch” of them to see the different methods.

Before…

After…

yeah ive def. watched countless youtube videos. also read a bunch too. all this morning ive been watching Northern Scrog on youtube. scrog school! i wouldnt have gotten this far without youtube! thats kind of what led me to this post. all the plants i see all look more lanky and just different from mine. (although i know indica are more bushy) This is apple fritter a hybrid. any whooot thanks for the advice. im addicted already ready to plant more
