Finished product smell problem

This is another option. I use them for every grow. Takes some of the guess work out of things for me. I burp for about 2 minutes. never had any thing go bad. I need to keep things simple.

I use the boveda 62% packs once they’re cured.
I know they are described as “2 way” but I’m not sure how much moisture they’ll pull out of overly wet buds.

Same. I would only cure with them if I dried too long.

…I’ve done that. It actually did a great job.

I use 58 and 62% bovidea packs when I cure once the humidity is stable I remove them

Using a small hydrometer in jar is a good way to monitor humidity

If over 62 % you should remove buds place on paper and let air dry for a1/2 hour and place back in jars
Do this everyday until humidity is stable in jars

Out of curiosity - if you do let your bud dry too much or too fast, does it just change the taste and make it crispy, or does it also alter the affect(e.g. change THC/CBD percentages)?

I have a question to go with this. Would some thing like this work? And would I need one for each jar? That could mean as many as 10 per plant. More if I do multiple plants. I use the 62% packs now and they work very well fro me. Or could i get away with just a few of these and just put them in jars at random
Thanks

These are the ones I got. Out of the 12, only one was a dud

@BobbyDigital, thanks. Do they all show the same humidity or to the vary? I am going to order a set to keep in my 1/2 gallon jars

I tested them in an empty jar with boveda 62%. They ranged from the lowest reading 60 and highest reading 64. So about 2% +/- . The dud read 99% no matter where it was.

For what it’s worth, I have 8 of these and they all tested within 1% of each other:

Thanks. I am going to get a couple sets ordered up. These could save me from having to buy so many boveda packs.
