beautiful plant porn. Just a quick one any tips about how you get your plants to grow so bushy

@Boongrower these are autos and I pull/spread the branches down and out and do a sh!t ton of defoliating each week, especially higher up fan leaves that block out lower growth imo. One is topped though because she was the tallest girl in the class lol and another is sitting on blocks because she’s the polar opposite of her sis. Before the flower stretch they were all pretty comparable, sorta anyways, but I’ve done an outdoor photo grow and had crazy big bushes by topping/fimming. These are after last nights defoliating attack on my lowers.

holy cow those are some big branches right there, I’m sure this is going to produce at least one pound of buds. Also, do you start your ladies out in their final container?

@Boongrower I didn’t. I did the float in water followed by individual solo cups, tails up to avoid helmet head, and then transplanted from there. I’m still figuring out my own style/methodology here lol. Scroll to the top of the thread and what I did for my most recent seedlings is what I did for the GSCE Autos. These newbies though will be getting tucked into my landscaping in a few weeks instead of the tent.

I hammered the girls hard last night lol so I gave’em a treat this afternoon. They each got 1.5 gal of pool cover rain water and all the biodegradable material floating around on it plus 1 tbsp of Agricultural Epsom Salt plus a 1/2 cup of 2% milk. Let’s get me some phat ‘top’ girls up in here!!!

Never thought of pool cover water…great idea. I’ve been using dehumidifier water but i sure have plenty of gallons on the pool. Have you used before? I also am using MG organic soil 70%, 15% coco, and 15% perlite. No problems. It wasnt about being cheap rather, it had the lowest report of gnats and bug infestation. Im also thinking of starting an outside grow…but im in ohio and it could be risky

These work for gnats and whatnot. I use my pool cover water for all of my Spring plants. I let whatever blows in stay all winter to weigh the cover down lol. All that broken down plant matter has everything my plants need for a good deep drink lol. I wish I could save it all somehow for the summer but soon it’ll just be pumped off into me yard.

I live in MD and we’re under similar situations. I tuck my outdoor throughout my landscaping for the ‘hidden in plain sight’ camouflage. It don’t hide that dank stank but what are ya gonna do lol?? My strategy is ‘can’t see the trees for the forest’ lmao!!

Staggered start here but at least they are all up lol. I’ll see if some seedling nutes can boost their appearance some.

Looking forward to seeing the outdoors grow, unless you camouflage it too good! :+1:

@CurrDogg420 only hidden in plain sight from the neighbors at a distance lol, when your in the yard they’re hard to miss. Maryland needs to hurry up and get that legislation in front of the voters or I’m gonna have to slide over into VA where it’s already full on legit.

But dank roams lol. They know

How do you like that Myco Supreme? I bought a bag to use since I’m getting low on Recharge… it was much cheaper so I was hesitent.

@Caligurl I don’t really know how to tell if and what difference using the fungi creates, I’m just following the train of symbiotic relationship thoughts from the OG’s who’ve influenced my start. The molasses I use is to feed the fungi. Hopefully their underground sated and happily doing whatever it is they do surrounded by all the worms I gathered from the backyard and dropped in there as well lol. All I can say is that what I’m doing overall just ‘feels’ right. Might not be too lmao. :man_shrugging:
