I’ve heard that urticaria is probably the best natural fertilizer, it has lots of nutrients, maybe someone tried it and can tell me the results?
@HerbGrower Really? I have not heard that. Urticaria, isn’t that a skin disorder?
Yes, you are right, but try to google urticaria(urtica) plant, it is covered with tiny thorns, and if you touch it feels like a needle pain, and itchy at the same time, it actually really good plant for skin also, it cures dry skin, and its tea helps with joints problems also.
Ohh ok so is the tea used to water the plantts? I’m sorry I know you were looking for answers but it was interesting to me since I want to grow organically. Hope you don’t mind the questions.
Its ok dont worry, thats why forums are made . Basically you chop stem and leaves while the plant is young and without seeds. Then the you put it in a jar, pour warm water and leave it for 14 days and wait for leaven, but you have to mix it everyday to fasten the leaven process. It can be very unpleasent smell if you do it more than 2 weeks. And after that you put the thick mass around the plant. Actaully this plant is doing miracles in the garde.
Oh wow I have never even heard of the plant. That’s interesting. I really want to grow outdoors but my state is STILL illegal and we only got 3 good warm months . Do you grow outside and if so would u use this for an indoor grow?
I live in country where its illegal too, i personally live in a house, so im growing 14 plants in a greenhouse. I will definately try this fertilizer, and i will show you process.Do your country have that plant?
I’m in US in the Midwest. We have them growing wild so I may find some at our gardening shops. I would love to see how to use it. I have been ingesting all videos and info on compost tea so that would tie right in to an organic grow!
your post is pure genius
James, thank you very much! Stinging nettle:thinking: so thats what it calls! Your information is gold worth, cheers
After i fertilize with it, i will let you know
I will be watching!
Butterflys lay their eggs on the under side of stinging nettle leaves …very Zen indeed !
it may be a bit smelly for inside…but, make some nettle feed up and have a sniff and you can be the judge if it is right for you.
Yeah man, i have read all the article, and im now almost ready to make it, tomorow ill probably go to pick some nettles and do the fertilizer, also im growing it in a greenhouse so its ok about the smell:nerd_face:
let me know if it does the magic on your grow please.
I am watching as well. Would love to see how it does. Love free earthy good things.
The results are incredible, i cant control them because of the huge boost they got from this stinging nettle tea. I personally will use this fertilizer for the rest of my life, here is why: firstly this tea is very light and almost cant burn the plant. Second thing is that i picked average back pack full of stinging nettle and made about 50litres or this brew. As i mentioned 1l of this brew mixes with 10l of water, as a result i made this tea for whole summer, and i use it for all my garden not only hemp. And of course most important thing is that this tea has all nutrients the plant need as a result the plant leaves are in perfect shape and absolutely no defficiency is detected. And most important thing is its ORGANIC! deffinately recommend using this
Right On !
