Your shouldnt need to the rain would just water in the existing fertilizer
Follow recommendations from mfg on how much to apply and how often
Can you give us a little more info
Type of fertilizer used
Size of outdoor grow
Are you in the ground or in pots ?
If pots size if pots
And region your in is helpful
