Feminized or Autoflower which one to start mid July

The construction of my off-grid greenhouse has taken longer then expected. The solar system was order today and will take a couple of weeks to install. I think it’s too late to start my lovely feminized seeds, so should I order autoflower? I’m in Arizona, the solar system will run evaporative cooler and fans. It will be mid July before I can pop seeds.

Autoflower

Autoflower would probably be the way to go that late in the season. wouldn’t think you would have enough time to Veg before the the light cycle starts changing forcing them to flower. It might be enough time theubwould just end up being smaller plants.

Welcome to ILGM forum. From the information you gave, I would think that you could do either. Depending on where you are in AZ, either choice might not be bad. Most of AZ gets fairly warm weather in the fall and I would think that you would be able to to do either. A month of veg and then let 'em flower. You should have enough time.

Autoflower are easier to grow if this is your first grow and may be the way to go if you are new to the greenhouse growing. Either way, good luck with your grow. Jerry

Piece of :birthday:. You’ll be addicted to growing before you know it.

@GennieGreen Can you germinate the seeds now, start them inside and move them to your greenhouse when it’s done? You’ll get much better yields with the extra month of veg time. Just a thought.

I don’t have electricity, it’s 100 + degrees here, so inside my RV is sometimes hotter than outside. No way to start seeds inside. I’m just starting my homestead and the first thing I’m building is my greenhouse. The solar system was delivered today. Should be up and running in less then a month.
Thanks for good thoughts.

Good luck if you need any help ill be around
