Females producing seeds at nodes

I have 3 female plants (Bruce banner and jack h) that are in their first week of flower that are producing a single seed at the node site. Why and what do I need to do about this?![image|374x500](upload://tQnfsbFlIyXR4azg5n41xQl

No worries, just looks like a swollen calyx.

I picked it off and it was a fully developed seed inside

I agree, pistils coming out is giveaway.

How long has plant been in flower? It doesn’t even look old enough to have a fully developed seed.

1 week in flower

I don’t think they come that fast. Is there any pollen sacks open on plant?

Could pre flowers get pollinated and start forming seeds before flower starts @dbrn32 ? I was under the impression it took a good month for full development of seed

Those are swollen cylax and look for white hairs coming out of the others. Mine look the same when going into flower i had the same thoughts .

Did you keep the seed? I think it would be educational for us to see it if you did.

Could we have a few more pics of the plant at different nodes (I am wondering if you have a hermi possibly)

I haven’t seen fully developed seeds until late in flower. I’m sure it would be possible for a preflower to catch pollen, it’s the fully developed part that has me a little puzzled.

If you can get a pic of one would be awesome. Has anyone popped one of these open before?

Guilty. The BBA I grew last year was the first plant I had that showed those big swollen calyxes at the node junctions… so yes, I took a couple off and ripped them open. There wasn’t any solid mass in them… they seemed hollow to me when I did it.

I have also pulled them apart and like bogleg said nothing solid. I have never found fully developed seeds until the end

It’s possible that these were present before they were put into flower and I didn’t notice them. I don’t have a pic of the seed right now but I will try to take one this evening.i can tell you that the seed that was inside was dark brown and hard. I found 3 on one plant and one on the others

The reason I asked about more pics of nodes is because I thought I saw a male flower in the pics from yesterdayIMG_20190220_070829
