Has anyone used fabric pots for growing plants? Just wondering for my next set that i grow. I would like to grow more than 4 this time
Fabric pots are great for growing, many of us use them. I highly recommend them.
Awesome! I saw a sweet deal on a 5 pack of 7gallon size. Also i use coco coir and found cannabis farmer organic super soil concentrate what are your thoughts for that as well? It says that all that is needed is to water after mixing
This forum is the bomb! You guys are awesome
Totally agree, also i put my hand on the side of the material gives a good indication of how damp the medium is
I also put the Hydro clay balls on top of a layer of gnatnix on top of the media @raustin then i dont have to water so much and helps control gnats, been over 5 days since i have watered and they are going strong, just a thought for you.
Sorry, i’m not familiar with the cannabis farmer concentrate.
Okay thank you
I am a user of fabric pots. I love them and they are great for my coco grow.
I grow with just pure coco in cloth pots. Works great and plants can’t get root bound ever, because rootlets grow through the fabric and air-prune automatically. I water with nute solution every day or two, so 20% runs out the bottom of the pot. You can never overwater with coco and cloth. Pure coco holds only the last nutes you put in, so no buildup is possible. And flushing is VERY easy at the end: Just water with pHed water.
This grow is the first time I have used fabric pots and I can tell you I am going to use them for the rest of my life haha seriously they have helped immensely with my over-watering problems and my girls have never looked so good. Could also be those ilgm genetics kicking in though… I picked up a six-pack of those five gallon ones from Amazon. Worth every penny.
