Extreme temperatures storage issue

Hi, So im in a different place now from where i grew and the environment is harder to control. With no AC, temps can get into the 80s and humidity around 50%, but its cloudy so it will normally be lower… And if i put it in the fridge, its in the low 30s and humidity is around 50%.

Yes yes, refrigerators and freezers are bad, but so is the heat out west with no AC. My thought is that the fridge is my better option and just use small mason jars instead of one big one and then just pull out a smaller jar for smoke as needed. Also, the fridge is rarely opened and the door is closed quickly.

And with temps in the low 30s, how long until this will start to make a noticeable difference in quality? Its only about 1.5oz so it will be gone in a semi-short timeframe for a high tolerance toker.

As always thoughts appreciated.

That’s sounds like a sound plan for storing your cannabis.

I live out west and the temps are closer to 90-100F. If you can afford it I would recommend vacuum seal and fridge, never done the freezer myself but I’m not sure how long you plan on storing it.

I think the only problem would be that your trichomes will be brittle at that temp and any handling will cause them to break and fall off. As far as the storage, the temps are not a problem. Some people even freeze it but as I said it can’t take being jostled around.
