Experiment gone bad

I tried using a spare Viparspectra 600 as a “side light” to get more light to the lower parts of my plants. As it turned out MORE is not always better. I learned that trimming your plants of big leaves to allow light to get to the lower parts is better than bombarding them with light.

Just wanted to give ya props on the great advice for newer growers! I’m an outdoor and have no input hahah. But yessir great advice on not over-lighting!!

I would have told told you to not do it if I knew in advance. Been there, done that. I don’t do it no more.

I have the Viparspectra PAR600 x 2. When I put one near the bottom and with my HLG lights the heat was bad. Looks like your plants got heat/light burn.

And glad I could help. I love my HLG’s. :+1:
