I never figured out what it was on mine @Low. Just kept feeding at the correct ph and it outgrew it.

Thats probably it more than anything. I made my own soil mix with some MG Garden, buffered coco and perlite. Probably didnt need to buffer the coco and definetly gonna get shit for using MG. But its cheap and feeds for 3 months.

I am not gonna give you shit. The only thing I will say is not to mix coco with soil. Coco needs to be watered daily as it dries quickly. Soil needs wet/dry cycles.

To make garden soil into potting soil the recipe called for 1 part garden 1 part coco 1 part perlite
