Does anyone add perlite to their soil when using earth dust? If so how much?

There is no relationship between the type of nutes you use and perlite. Perlite improves drainage and helps prevent soil compaction. I use Fox Farm Happy Frog soil and add about 20% perlite by volume.

Same here, happy frog, mixed with 20% perlite, happy frog fruit flower 4-9-3, and worm castings.

Exactly what he said earth dust is for top dressing so you want to add 20% more perlite to your medium

When I reuse the soil for the next grow I do add some more perlite. My original soil was around 20-30%.

I too add perlite to my reused FFHF AND FFOF.
