DWC Incredible Bulk - Treez

I’m officially starting the new grow journal for my Incredible Bulk girl I’ve got growing. I expect big things from her, given her description and popularity.

Germinated on 7/17 and planted into a pot on 7/20. She looks great!

From July 31st

From August 2nd.

From August 5th.

And from today, August 7th.

So cute when they’re small.

I like how the early pruning caused a zig zag growth of the trunk, it looks cool.

The bulk girl looks nice and bushy already

Looking good!

I’ve seen you do it before and neglected to ask… is there a particular reason you start them in soil instead of straight from the bucket?

So what is an Incredible Bulk anyway?

@dbrn32 I do it because it just seems to work the best for me. I have tried using rock wool and rapid rooter plugs, as well as jiffy pellets lol. I didn’t like them. I have figured out a way to germinate a seed and place it into a 2" net pot and successfully sprout a plant, but the particulars behind it were just a little too much to continue to do. I also think soil to DWC is fine because I use a soil-less medium, with 60% “soil” and 40% perlite. It’s only there to sprout the girls, then I rinse it away and into DWC.

@FreakyDeekie Incredible Bulk is just a name of a weed strain. It is a cross of three notable Indica strains; Big Bud, Super Skunk, and Green Spirit. I’m very excited to be growing it and to already have such a beautiful plant. I think I got a good phenotype, just by the early growth I see!

Thanks @Nugs I appreciate that, and to everyone else too! @Givemefire @Ray4x @Wishingilivedina420state @BIGE I appreciate the love guys! @Hogmaster @Countryboyjvd1971

No problem @ktreez420 I love seeing your plants bro. Even started a small wanna be hydro grow my self, so I’ll be keeping up with you a lot more now. Gotta get better for my next shipment arrives. I wanna grow Hiydrow (HY-1) in hydro. Super high CBD low low THC.

Pretty sweet, I had no idea. I’m just accustomed to seeing them done like you said, or in an aero setup. Seems pretty easy, and a whole lot cheaper!

It’s always worked out too. I remember the first time I wanted to try it and I went to my local hydro store asking the owner if he thought I could do it without killing the plant. He told me I could, so I did lol! And I’ve never looked back since.

Although these guys like @Countryboyjvd1971 make me want to grab some soil and try again indoors lol!

Awesome!

You know once you get that light built, you’re gonna be tinkering with building a small light just for them right?

A small light just for what lol? @dbrn32

I’m about to grab some promix after seeing how well @Hogmaster is doing with that
I’m moving away from the fox farm nutes
Looking for alternative soils as well
Still wanting to try the hydro just don’t think I have the time to focus on it right now thinking maybe over the winter when I have more time :+1:

Of course dude! Eventually I’ll know half the things about LED’s that you do lol!! @dbrn32

@Countryboyjvd1971 yea I started with Fox Farms nutrients and transitioned to General Hydroponics once I was established in hydro. I also have a bunch of Dutch Master nutrients around that were given to me a while ago. I just don’t know anyone that uses it or can give me any advice with it so I just stick with the GH nutes.

Follow along buddy! @North_East_Newbie The more love, the better!

Chit man, I probably don’t know half what I think I do. Went to school for industrial automation, and have been working almost 20 years I’m that or energy field. That helps a lot! The rest of it is just cruising the web seeing what other people are doing, trying to keep up with the new components, and finding a way to apply that to whatever I need. But I appreciate the compliment, thanks!

It’s not as addictive to growing, but you’ll definitely be looking into what else you can do after your first build.
