what is the pH of your soil?

I have always bottom fed so I have never measured drain-off.

Take one cup of soil, one cup of pH’ed 7 water and put them into a container with a lid.
Shake well and let settle to bottom. Let sit for 10-15 minutes.
Get coffee filter or equivalent and drain to separate soil from water.
Test your drained water for pH.

You just performed the Slurry Test for soil PH.

My Slurry Test is PH 6.06.

You’re right on the edge for soil growing.
At that pH you are denying your plant Cal Mag and Phos
This might help a bit.

Many Thanks for your help. I didn’t mention that my tent 2 mornings ago was 37c. I had soaked the plants with Ortho Bug Begone the night before so the humidity must have been very high when the lights came on at 0600. Could humidity and the 600w sodium light have done some of this damage?

My sodium light is 24 inches above my plants.

I’m not sure Ortho is cannabis compatible.
I’ve never had to use any bug spray but I know there are specific formulas used just for cannabis.
