Hello to all! Thanks in advance but can someone please explain how to drill the stalk? And what is the advantage to it, I’ve been hearing lots of people on hear drill the stalk
The advantage is, if done at the right time, usually about a week before harvest, it’ll send the plant into survival mode and it’ll start producing more trichomes.

Haha awesome. .disappointed because I just harvested last night danggg. .next time I going to try it for sure
split the stem just off the ground…a vertical split about 1 1/2" long for a medium sized plant.
insert something to keep the split opened up. Pencils n chop sticks seem to be popular for that.
that’s all there is to it. it will increase trichome production after 2 days the increase IS noticeable.
kind of a one time thing…best to do 3 or 4 days before harvest. Not so good if you plan on keeping the plant as a mother plant.
