If my growing media has dolimite lyme in it, should i also be adding CalMag? After my last feed got rust spots on some of the older leaves. I wonder if an overdose of calcium may be locking out other nutrients. Also, this only happened to one of two plants and they are the same species and soil.

@Abiddle67 , Welcome to the forum.
Dolomite will help balance pH swings by neutralizing acid, but it breaks down so painfully slow it will not give any significant calcium boost in the short time a cannabis plant is growing. It takes many months or even a year or more to provide calcium to plants. One grower here not long ago added dolomite to water and it added zero parts per million when he tested it. So basically you still need calmag if you see a deficiency. What soil are you using and what plant food?

Great info. Any idea what this could be? I had been misting the plants in the morning before the lights come on, could it just be water spots.

That’s what it looks to be from water droplets i would try to stay away from misting it can cause more problems than it worth happy growing my friend

It may simply be water on the leaves. Spraying the leaves causes more issues than it solves so we don’t recommend it under most circumstances.
