I don’t know. I can’t imagine they would be unsafe considering their main purpose is the long term storage of food. Like I said, I don’t worry about the older stuff and the newer stuff is usually just an outside coating. Even if it’s actually dyed, cobalt isn’t necessary for that. No where can I find an alert for canners so, I don’t believe it to be a problem.

Fake Mylar bags are sketchy in general, they’re all vapor coated with pigments or metal to give them the properties they have. Over time and\or under the right condition that coating will come off.

You are totally golden with those jars
But
If you have the means everyone, and I mean everyone who tries the grov bags , swears by them and will never go back to romm consuming jars that have to be burped

I’m glad I only got 3 jars as I’m going grove bag next harvest if I can find the scratch to fund it
Got too much stuff to buy
New scale
Cannabrush maybe
Trimmers
Trim bin
The list never really ends , does it?

I have clear, but I keep in the dark do doesn’t really matter at all

I’d not be worried about the blue tint
Actually it probably blocks a touch of light so probably better than clear

Usually it takes an acidic medium to leach metals out of glass.
