Does it matter what time of year to plant cannabis in the tropics?

A question of a fellow grower:
I live in the tropics; west Africa to be precise. temperatures hit an average of 32 degrees celcius - 89.6 degrees Fahrenheit daily. Does it matter what time of year to plant cannabis in the tropics?

With photos Day light hours makes more of a difference
You want to plant when your days are getting longer and the plants will start flowering when the day light hours start to reduce usually below 14 hours
If you start them later they will be smaller and yield will be reduced

With autos you can grow them at any time because they are not light sensitive
