I have not read anything about auto flowering plants because i had decided to grow regular seeds for my first grow. Today i read the guide for autoflowering plants and understand them better. i then went to the seeds shop and searched for “super” autoflowering seeds and got a bunch of seeds shown but i’m not sure any of them are in the “super” catagory. That was at the end of the guide where they talked about them being better than the “regular” autoflowers. anyone got any insight to this?
The first auto I grew was low rider 10 years ago or more and they claimed you could get up to 3/4 oz. Per plant (if I remember correctly) with that in mind I feel like all the autos these days are “super” lol
I averaged 4 ounces per plant on my white widows ! It’s all about conditions There are either going to like it or they won’t and that goes for any auto flower sometimes you get a quarter sometimes you get 4 ounces
I totally agree ! Just pick a autoflower that you really like or sounds appealing and grow her! I have grown 14 different strains usually 4 to 6 at a time and never sre they the same, i actually made a thread about autoflower inconsistency lol…enjoy buddy
I average over 200 grams per ILGM White Widow Autoflower… Genetics, environment, grow method, etc. all impact your grow…
These White Widows were planted Nov. 28 2018. Still no buds. Does this look like it should at this age?
i am real surprised that they haven’t started flowering after 2 and half months of veg @KingIdol
@Kroncaddycustoms @Hogmaster @Gardenguy
What can be wrong? I have them in a DWC system using CalMag, and the General Hyponic’s nutrients. 2 300 watt MARS LED grow lights.
@KingIdol i have no idea. i am a rookie and have 4 fems about an inch tall in my peat pellets. that is why i tagged kron and hog to help you. if you put @ in front of name it adds tag that gets peoples attention.
Thank you!
yw bud, i like it here because people are so friendly and helpful.
but here is another one @KingIdol, it is easier for them to help you the more info you give them. the system and calmag and gen hypo nutri and the lights are good help, but temp, humidity, size of grow area and other things effect, (just guessing, as i said i’m a rookie) but more info help is better and more astute
Are those ww auto? If not then they would not be flowering without the 12 hour dark period @KingIdol. What does it look like in normal light
oops good point @Gardenguy i thought he had said they were autos, took into account thread title but he didn’t say they were in his post, good catch
Check to be sure they are autoflower. It’s not uncommon for people to order the wrong one. If you still have the package they came in, it should have a part number with “WW-FA” in it.
You can also check your invoice that came with it, or log into the seed shop and look up your order.
Unfortunately i cannot tell you the exact problem but dont give up! I only do autos in soil , so in your dwc setup is there lots of roots?, is there any slime? Slightly brown root tips? Whats your light your using?to be honest with the multiple strains of autos ive grown every plant literally is different, sometimes good phenos sometimes bad lol,
Yep, definately Autos.
Stitch has super autos, if that’s what you’re looking for. They grow big, have a 6-7 week veg period, and typically take 105+ days to crop.
All else fails, switch to 12/12 lighting. If they don’t start flowering in a few weeks, you got a problem Bro.
