Does anyone have a San Light Evo?

Can I crank my San light Evo 4 80 up to max lighting for flowering plants?

Yes. It is only 250 watts. Follow the DLI guidelines.

How many plants are you growing under it?

Growing 3 at the moment

It’s a bit crowded in there. It will be important to maintain good airflow in your tent.

DLI is a great tool if you can measure it accurately. I spent an enormous amount of time researching how to measure it using the photone app, and android phone, even contacted the software developers, and I still don’t get what I feel are accurate results. So good luck with that unless you buy a $500 apogee meter, or something similar.

I have a tower fan and a fan at the top along with a carbon filter fan going. I have a calcium deficiency currently so I didn’t want to over do it.

Nothing to worry about. There is no relationship between deficiencies and airflow.

Asterisk, if lack of airflow causes leaf VPD to become too low, the plant won’t draw as much water (and therefore nutes) from the root zone as it should, leading to deficiencies over time. It will look like overwatering at first.

Agreed, but I like to keep things simple for the new growers.
