I can t seem to find a topic talking about living soil and most specifically about Ph.
I have 4 plants in build a soil recipe 3.0 (living soil) the owner/ youtube content creator in one of his video talks about ph does not matter in living soil, the soil does it itself, he had a better explanation but that s what i remember from it.
I m asking that question cause i m seeing some brown leaves on 2 of the plants, not sure if this is ph related or not.
I would love to hear from you all
You shouldn’t need to. Your microbes should be taking care of that.
When building your soil are you adding dolomite?
In that case i must have something else going on, wonder what it could be!?
It s a preblend…buildasoil

Have pics of the plant? You have any recharge?
Oh, shaded leaves that may have touched the soil at some point. You’re good
I ll have to google that never heard of it.
I agree that’s almost fir sure them bottom leafs touching soil, that’s exactly what they look like and this is extremely common, sometimes they don’t mind it and sometimes they do that
Leaves that touch the soil will get burns on them. If the leaves are primarily shaded and don’t process enough light, the plant will get rid of them.
Plant: “I’m feeding you but you’re doing nothing for me, you’re fired”. Kinda like our appendix. Our bodies fired that thing a long time ago.
If your living soil is healthy then ph is a non issue. Our reservoir fluctuates from 8-10 ph. I just pour it in…grin. Never dry the soil out. Ever. Sometimes I have a hot cook. Plants burn when young…recover as they grow and end up wonderfull. Here is a photo or 2 of a well cooked soil and the plant.
The fuzz is a vibrant living soil.
I love seeing “the fuzz”. Is it bad that the more organic my soil smells the more excited i get? when i feed the next morning i walk in to check on everything before work and i can smell the soil before i even walk in. When i do, all the girls are dropping trow…
Living soil rocks.
Wait till you add the carbon rich char. The microbes will thank you.
U guyz are awesome thanks for all the feedback.
