Just ordered Do-Si-Dos auto seeds from ILGM for my next grow to commence upon delivery. All systems go.
Just curious about any experiences with this strain forum peeps may have had. Any & all info will be appreciated.
I have not, yet, but don’t forget to check out the journals also.
Headed there right after posting…
Thanks!
Thanks for this!
There isn’t much difference between the strains from a growing perspective other than perhaps coloration at maturity. All strains need the same temps, RH, pH, PPM etc…
The main difference between the strains is cannabinoid content and each strain’s unique terpine profile.
Yeah, I’ve found this to be true so far with my 3 previous grows. Consistent environment, conditions have produced almost identical results regardless of strain. I’ve read a bit about this strain growing bigger than anything I’ve grown so far. Just curious, and revving up for this grow
I did two Dosi autos a couple runs ago and was pleased with it. I would say it was a forgiving strain and didn’t mind a little extra food but it wasn’t what I would consider a heavy feeder.
I got two different pheno types, one leaning more Indica one more sativa.
Everyone that has tried it has loved it for its effects not so much its taste, I’m known for fruity sweet strains.
I can share pictures if you’d like.
I got a current grow going with three of them now. Autoflower as well. Not much difference than anything else. Has a good reputation of a mighty fine weed. I did get a runt one out of three but that seems pretty common with autoflowers. I think you’ll be happy
@Autos-only thanks for this. This strain sounds right up my alley! Sure, pics of you’re up for it. Thanks!
I’m really looking forward! Thanks for your info and continued success with your grow!
Thank you! I was pleased with that strain. it did get some light burn near the end but oh well.
Guessing 10-15 weeks
Cool. Nicely done. Thanks again for the pics
Seeds arrived yesterday only 1 week after ordering. ILGM has excellent service!
I’m going with 2 plants this time around, and here’s what I’m doing:
Germinating seeds in H2O/H2O2 - I’ve not used peroxide before but have read of its benefits.
When ready, seeds will go into solo cups with Happy Frog & mycorrhizae for sprouting and early seedling phase.
I’ll transplant seedlings into 5gal fabric pot set up like this: bottom 1/2 Strawberry Fields Soil with about 30% Perlite and mycos. To this soil I added Gaia Green amendments - All Purpose, Glacial Rock Dust & Power Bloom - all at recommended dosages.
I also included worm castings.
The top 1/2 is Ocean Forest /Happy Frog mixed at approx 60%/40% with about 20% Perlite along with mycos. No additional amendments added to this as O.F. can sometimes be hot - i have read.
I plan to top dress with the mentioned amendments throughout the grow, along with CalMag and molasses when necessary.
I have not done anything like this as far as the soil build and feeding plan goes. Does this approach sound reasonable? Any input will be appreciated. And thanks in advance if you’re inclined.
While I’m not a soil guy, it looks like you have educated yourself well and came prepared.
Best to you!
Thanks. Hope so. My plan is to only water and top feed amendments as needed. Dropping the seeds on Saturday.
2 seeds into H2O/H2O2 - 5:1 and tucked away. And we’re off…
@Graysin you requested being tagged my next grow. Not exactly sure how to navigate on here, but I’m out of the blocks with these 2 Do-Si-Dos autos if interested.
