Do plants double in size then bud on too of that?

Meaning if I switch to flower will the give or take double in size and then grow buds taller or just on the new growth?

Yeah… really hoping they do! Not sure if having my lights at the height they are at is a good thing or not, the SQ are getting busier and bushier while the stand alone choc haze is growing taller and barely any bush… could be the strain or the hydro I’m not sure. The fact is the longer they veg the bigger the yield generally (If I’m correct) just can’t wait to get them growing big
