Do I need to do anything special to begin the flowering stage?

A customer has a question and I hope we can get some opinions on it, thanks

“I was wondering if you could tell me if I need to do anything special to begin the flowering stage? I have never grown before, and I was not sure if when you cut back the light from 18 hours to 12, if I do it
gradually or simply end the 18 and go straight to 12. Thank you for your time.”

Just change the light schedule from 18/6 to 12/12 and will trigger the flowering stage!

Some do a gradual switch. First to 14/10 then 12/12 but all personal preference.

The important part is getting to 12/12. It will be a 2-week transition to flower after that.
