I would let the water sit for a day or two in a bucket. Others will say you will be fine and you ‘might’ be. I would be scared that the chlorine would damage any beneficial life in the soil.

I used tap water on my plants this past grow. I had to tweak their ph a few times, but nothing major.
Boiling your tap water for about 15mins will remove the chlorine, if that’s a concern…that’s what I do.
If you’re really worried about it, go the distilled water route though. At least until you can find more information, maybe?
