Do i cure bud for butter, oil, and tincture?

Hi All!

Thanks for all the previous help! It is definitely a learning process but it’s all fun! My question is:

DO I NEED TO DRY AND CURE THE BUD BEFORE MAKING BUTTER, COCONUT OIL OR GLYCERINE TINCTURE? CAN I JUST USE IT RIGHT AWAY IN MY MAGICBUTTER MAKER? Any comments greatly appreciated as I can not find an answer online.

There are 2 schools of thought the terpenes which develop aroma and taste change in curing process so fresh not cured will have different flavor profile than cured. You can fast dry and process but flavor will be different from cured to not cured

I personally like to cure my product before processing anything but as DJ mentioned flavor will be different
I recommend you try it both ways and see what you like best remember to decarb fir your edibles as well :wink: happy growing and processing CB
