Do Fabirc Pots Need Drainage

I getting ready to transplant into 3 gallon fabric pots in my indoor grow tent. In my prior outside grow I used fabric but the bottom always stayed wet for quite a while. Should I poke drainage holes in the fabric pots? Should I elevate the pots off the ground a little? Thanks for any advice, jm

Not necessary. Elevate your grow bags a couple of inches if possible.

I just set mine in saucers.

The bottoms will stay “damp” but its nothing to worry about. Plenty of airflow add oxygen to the soil or medium through the fabric.

Get you one of these Risers about 3 inches high. Set in some saucer or container to collect runoff. Set fabric bag on riser and everything flows perfect the risers come in different sizes so pay attention to that.
