DIY TRUE aeroponic cloner

Hey all, some of you know I had something cooking. (And I’m not done yet!) I’ll get to what I started here in a second. I want to take a second to recognize a fellow growers ingenuity and I can not take full credit for this method of growing. Thank you @MAXHeadRoom for inspiring me. I also have more stuff to assemble… :wink:
I started off wanting something I can clone with, and start vegging in a unit before going into a final net pot. I shopped for a true aeroponic unit, and was unable to find what I wanted, and everything I found it just kind of sprays and not a mist. Remember I had to order everything, mostly, and all of you can source more locally to bring cost down. So here’s what I cooked up.

Thanks @Covertgrower, I’ve been wondering what goes on in those tubs…hahahahaha

Pretty dang cool!! :sunglasses::nerd_face:

Please explain this pic…is it like, steaming? Does the water drain somewhere or stay in the tub? Looks like a really cool system, my little fried brain isn’t grasping how it works, though.

Cool ! will we be seeing this on amazon soon? great job @Covertgrower

Sweet @Covertgrower, thanks for posting this!

that is one serious cloner @Covertgrower

Excellent work @Covertgrower, it is worth noting that many of the commercial products that we purchase have their beginnings in some shop or garage somewhere. All of you that figure out new ways of doing things and building new kinds of devices are at the core of innovation and invention. Thanks for the great post.

That’s what my grows are all about. I always try to make stuff myself, if possible.

Good question - @Covertgrower are you going to drain and recirculate the water that collects in the tub?

@Bogleg @DieHigh55 I allowed it to drain back into the tub. You could have a separate drain and reservoir if you wanted.
It’s a very fine mist approximately 50 microns or less.
