Was tending to my ladies this AM when the pooch came down to see what was up. She accidentally knocked over one girl and it landed on some of the loose mixture that fell out of the bag. I brushed what I could off, but it’s loaded with sugar & resin. Is there a method to remedy this “sticky” situation ?
Zoiks Scoob that’s a bummer! Bad doggy! Jk jk. After you harvest, do a thorough budwash. Looke up Jorge Cervantes Bud Wash on YouTube. Great 5 minute tutorial. Will help knock off lots of debris and buds are perfectly fine.

Jorge Cervantes. Now there’s blast from the past ! I think I bought a metal halide rig from his store in Corvallis Washington, back around 1986 or so…
…anyways thanks for the tip. Good to hear he’s still around !
Maybe a can of “canned air” blow off lose stuff and then bud wash at harvest if necessary.
I always bud wash. I fill one side of the sink with water, 1/4 cup baking soda and 1/4 cup of lemon juice, the other side with straight water for rinsing.
Is the process as simple as dunking the stalk in the wash, giving a little shake, dunk in the rinse, then pull out and hang?
@SandyC so the first bucket got the baking soda and lemon juice 1/4 of a cup of each mix with 20 litres of water last 2 buckets just have water for rinsing. Grab a branch be gentle when dunking about 30 seconds in first then about 10 seconds in last 2 give a good shake after and hang in good air flow with a fan here a photo of mine hanging on my verandah. Mine took 3 to 4 hours before I brought it back inside but can take longer.
Peroxide attacks all organic material and does a good job of lifting contaminants away. If you use peroxide you don’t really even need to rinse again as the peroxide breaks down into O² and H²O.
