Dimensions needed for outside grow

I will be planting 12 auto fem cannibus plants outside this spring. What will be the space needed for such a grow. Thanks

a 2’ x 2’ area per plant would be tight,
3’ x 3’ is doable,
4’ x 4’ should be roomy for autos.!

if u r tight on space plant in hills and rows,
plant a line of 6 plants 2’ apart, move over 6-8’ and do another row of 6 plants,
the plants may get pretty bunched up but they will do good.!
