Difference between two plants of the same strain

I have two sour diesel fem going strong for about 6 weeks now. Minus very little nut burn from a heavy hand last week, they have been doing pretty good imo. I over ordered a bigger light and now I’m struggling with temps but I’m ordering a 6 inch ductile fan this week to help. The new light should help these girls come to their full potential, so hopefully it’s worth it. My only main question/concern right now is that one of the girls has way more pre flowers than the other one… I will attach a few photos of course. What do y’all think?

Thanks for any help y’all are awesome

may I assume these are auto’s…

I would guess autos too. They flower when they want to, same strain or not.

I ordered 20 feminized sour diesel… From ilgm. My light has been perfectly consistent throughout the whole process :person_shrugging:

That might make sense because they are no where near as tall as what I thought sour diesel was supposed to be even with my LST I have been doing the plants have stayed compact throughout this whole process. Do you think maybe they messed up my order?

They are supposed to be feminized

Take a pic of the mini baggie they came in with the writing printed on it. We’ll know if they’re autos or photos by the code.

I see that…6 weeks for a photo to show its preflower without your lights being below 12 hrs each day is not very likely…how is your lighting…is by chance it is not staying on as long as you thought???

I’m on 18 hours right now. I wasn’t going to induce flowering for at least three more weeks

well I see white heads on one girl…so it has started on that one

The FP5 makes me think they’re photos like you ordered, but let a moderator or someone from ILGM confirm that. Maybe @dbrn32 or @MattyBear can help.

Yes, those are photoperiod. If they were autos, the description would be FAP

Thanks MB I’m at a loss then. I just remembered that my spectrum was on the seedling setting with my light for almost three weeks in the beginning. Would that have done something? I was using the vivosun 1000 but have since gotten the 4000

I guess it is possible that the light level is so low at this setting that eventually she thinks it is less than 12 hours of light

Thanks for your time. What do I do now? Just let it go and see what happens I fear is my only choice at this point. The other plant does have some preflower but nothing like the one that is already flowering…

I think you set your lights for 12/12 and watch the show…sorry it didn’t turn out like you wanted but there is always the next grow to start planning for when this one is done in another 8 weeks or so :cowboy_hat_face:

ROG would it even be worth flowering plants this small? I could get rid of the flower girl and try to clone the other one and salvage this harvest a little bit. I wasn’t necessarily going for high quantity but I don’t want to waste the energy, my own and the electric, if they won’t produce any weight.

absolutely worth trying to do any of what you mentioned…I am hydro and I start my flower cycle at 6 weeks sooooooo…remember they will usually double in size but I have had many that tripled…there is always something you can learn from a grow to help you do better on your next…
