I have these 4 plants (2 Gold Leaf and 2 Super Skunk-photos) under a net that are trying to become one big bush. I know i need to trim this down but i dont know where to begin. I’ve been spreading them open in the middle. Growing in coco using Jacks 321 only. I’ve only grown twice before but never did much defoiling or trimming. There 11 weeks old, 2nd week past 12/12 switch.

Start at the bottom to get good air flow and rest of plant to get light to bud sights

Look up lollipoping. Strip leaves of the bottom 1/3 of plants and any branches that don’t make it to your scrog net for starters.

You’ve still got some net holes that could be filled. I would recommend starting the net lower on your next run and go down a plant or 2 if you’re going to veg that long. There’s some good growth under this net so I would start with lollipopping and strip all growth below the 3rd or 4th node

I know i put my net on late it was a afterthought. I just did a defoil on the lower third, it looks better. I also lst some higher tops as well. Thanks

Yeah a little stress is building as flower begging soon. These plants have been thru hell. I started them in a hydroponics set up and over night i had algee slime growth inside all the containers, it was from heat. Couldn’t afford a chiller so i tore it down and put the fairly big root balls in coco and perlite. They wilted for a few days but snapped out of it lol. Now I’m worried about Pest, I’m starting to see one here and there. And I know the smell is coming. The Super Skunk and Gold Leaf are know for rich aromas ,i’m in my basement with only a carbon. filter. Just last week i finally ordered a better ph pen. And found out i was feeding with a ph of 6.2 instead of 5.8. When i defoiled today i found a lot of dead leaves with brown on em. Hope this takes care of that.
Just remember never bring plants from outside in your grow room without fully inspection
