I have been working with DWC systems that I designed myself. Finding that two risers with four sprayers is a better design than four risers four runners and 8 sprayers due to the roots entangling on the center runner at the bottom. Been pretty interesting the past 3-4 weeks. Have one plant over 16 inches in just over 4 weeks.
Also found that if you start your seeds in dirt and let them grow to about the first or second node your plant has a much higher rate of survival compared to starting it in hydro as a young seedling only 1-2 weeks old. As long as the node appears and a tail is showing you are golden.
Disclaimer……running Autos don’t know exactly how my design would work on normal light cycle dependent plants.
