From a fellow grower: I purchased a large propagation tray and got some Rapid Rooters that I just tried for the White Widow and Super Skunk that I just purchased. I wanted to try it this way because I just switched over to deep water culture hydro and can’t transfer from soil. From my research, this is a surefire way to germinate. Do you feel this is the best option to start for DWC?
Yeah; the RR’s will support the plant until it can drop roots into your solution. I’ve done hydro without RR’s but really not advisable.

All I do is rdwc or dwc and have always used rapid rooters.
For best results germinate seed before placing in rapid rooter. I usually place them in RR after seeds tail is 1/4 to 1/2 inch. If tail is to long to safely place in the RR I cut rr down the side to open it and place seed in that way. Can secure the RR back together with a rubber band.
