Day time 24 degrees 18 lights out

Ok temp swing ?

That’s 75.2 Fahrenheit dropping to 64.4

I am definitely not qualified to answer, but they will want to know what strain you are growing as it will affect the answer. They will probably also want to know if it’s soil, hydro, indoors, outside, greenhouse, guessing that’s air temperature, if it’s hydro, water temp is more important.

@Sutton that’s an acceptable air temperature change. They’ll survive.

But this will slow down the growth and yield hey ?

More than likely, if any at all, it’ll be negligible. I feel those are acceptable ranges. Others might disagree.
I’m growing currently and they get down to 60° at night.

Yeah I’m running a heater in the room to maintain the temp overnight , wanting to run more lights but I will start popping breakers due to the huge draw of the heater. If I could take it out of the picture that be great lol

put your heater on it’s own timer to go on after the lights go off, and off before the lights come on?

That’s a good idea lol why didn’t I think of it lol

@sutton check out the Inkbird ITC-306 for about $30. It’s designed to control heat. You can set 2 different temperatures with the timer. I do 78 during lights on, and 67 during lights off, with a 3 degree variance for the target temps. It has a two outlet power plug that’s hard wired into the unit so you can plug in your heater and whatever else. I use it in my modest bathroom grow room with a small Trustec oil heater ($40) that only pulls 700 watts. But my space is something like 5’x8’x8’…it’s small. Hope this helps some!

I’m running one now for humidity , seems to do good job controlling the temp too

Nice…that unit I mentioned does a good job on the controlling temps. Just need to be sure your heater plugged into it has rocker on/off switch or something similar so it comes on when the power is supplied.
