Dark coloured slime

A question from a fellow grower:

I am a new grower and am having a root problem. I am growing in the cash crop 4.0 hydroponically . I am using the “RAW Grow” that came with the setup and it. The roots are being covered with a dark coloured slime. I cleaned everything and cleaned the roots as best I could with H2O2 and refilled the res. And it came back again and the first two leaves are discoloured. What am I doing wrong?

Res temps if you keep your res cooler oxygen is more mobile which reduces bacteria and gives roots more oxygen try adding frozen bottle or ice pack to res if your temps are 68-70f then you are on target
