A good quality dehumidifier will work better…

Yeah i have one in the adjacent room but grow in a 3x3 tent in 5x8 walk in closet it would be to much heat for that room.

Agree with oldmarine. Damp rid or something like silica as a dehumidifer just can’t hold enough water to make a difference.

I use silica in my safes and it’s a PITA to bake the moisture out of the beads so often.

U would be better off getting a dehumidifier

I have a dehumidifier I am trying to figure out how to lower the humidity if possible with the 2 combined.temps here are in the 80s humidity in the 90s at night my thermostat to the house is on the far side of where i grow so the room gets up to high 80s with the lights out and the air doesn’t kick on. so does anyone know if damp rid in the 1/2 gal. size would help.

Damp Rid pulls all moisture out of the air very slowly whereas a dehumidifier normally has settings that control humidity to a certain % and they work pretty quick.

Cardboard boxes ontop your planters work to reduce rh also, plus if you get a lot of deliveries you can make use of packaging
