Not sure why, but I have been finding daddy longlegs spiders on my plants. They are about 30" tall (the plants, of course, not the spiders. Doesn’t bear thinking about), Any ideas? Are they harmful to the plants?
They can actually be helpful as they eat undesirable bugs (e.g. gnats.) There are a few species of them that do feed on plant matter, but they are not very common.

Agree with @MidwestGuy as a rule they are good the question is why are they there it mite mean they have a food source I would check carefully for pests

Just do a very thorough bud wash when you harvest.

Good point. If there is a few of them around it is probably because there is a food source there for them (other bugs.)

Hello All- a 1st time cannabis grower here (about 3 weeks into flower indoors and have plants outside in garden) so my question me be obvious to all except me. Please explain what a “thorough bud wash” and how it should be performed. Thank you and happy growing!

Thank you MidwestGuy for the fast response. That is what I suspected but wanted to make sure. I use H2O2 for pest control and was wondering if that might be it. I don’t have any issues yet but am trying to gain as much knowledge as possible so as I encounter them I can be prepared with a quick response. ILGM forum is keeping me informed!
