Troll — UP residents use this Michigan slang for residents of the Lower Peninsula. It comes from the “Three Billy Goats Gruff” fairy tale in which the troll lives under the bridge. In this case, the bridge is, of course, the Mackinac Bridge. (Pronounced Mackenaw)

My opinion is that cops are overextended and have no interest in investigating, for instance, anomalous electric consumption from any particular residence. I can’t imagine law enforcement having the time to hang out as a member of a grow forum to get some local yokel. The vast majority of us grow for personal use and enough for our family and friends. It’s not the activity that is going to make an impact from a law enforcement perspective. Does it happen? Yeah, probably. Often? Maybe once every few years.

I know of quite a few others, but interaction amoungst all is always a positive. Ie…the Michigan self banter was a new “quirk”. Lol i thought they had their hands full with “Buckeyes” as neighbors. Nope, yuppers and trolls.

Exactly. Besides the chain of evidence would be impossible to prove. Nobody knows who is using and posting info. So saying Spiney_Norman is in actuality “My Real Name” would be impossible to prove. Jurys don’t want to convict cannabis users anymore so just ask for a jury trial and the chance of conviction is nearly nil. Before Missouri went legal Kansas City judicial system announced it would no longer prosecute any simple possession cases because they could get no convictions. Its one thing to get caught, but a totally different animal to get a conviction.
