So when caring you you burp the jar How many times the 1st 2nd and 3rd week or until they’re done And then when they are done how often do I burp after that. And what would be the reason someone would get a hay smell during their cure does it go away
The first week u burp ur jars three times a day for 15 mins at a time second week u burp twice a day for 15 mins a day third week once a day for 15 min and then after that u would only burp it when u go to get weed out for a smoke make sure u have a hydrometer gauge in ur jars and when it gets stable at 62% its right but if u see rh get up around 70-75 % ur flower isnt dry properly it needs more drying the hay smell will go away it may take a little bit longer ,but if u have dried ur flower properly it shouldnt have much of a hay smell

My whole dry room smells like cut grass terrible lol I just wanna make sure it will go away

Before I harvested them they smelled like really good weed now just smells like wet grass

When the cut grass smell subsides and the dank comes back you’ll be like whaaaaat?
It’s a glorious transition, my weed smelled of hay but it turned into more of a dirty foot smell… but in a good way? Like you getting sex, and her feet kinda stink but you don’t care cause you’re getting laid( or high)

Thanks everyone… @Aussie_autos thanks for the info is that pretty standard as far as the curing goes do people ever burp less burp more @BobbyDigital when you put yours into jars how do you go about your technique for burping
I don’t burp anymore with grove bags. When I jarred, I would burp 2-3 times a day for the first few weeks. Then once a day for a few weeks after.

@BobbyDigital ok sounds good… so obviously smaller buds will be done first… so if I just have mist of the bigger ones Jarred at 11 or 12% humidity and mix up little nuts in with it will it even them out… that way I can jar everything at once instead of picking and choosing is that kind of how it’s done
@BobbyDigital and I have a humidifier and heater going in my dry room because it cold out and like 18 degress and that part is not heated… and I cannot get it up to 60rh it been between 50-55rh and about 60-65 degrees that is the best I can do so hopefully it good enough…
Yeah, that’s good. That’s about where I dry at. And you can jar them all at once, the humidity will even out between the dryer and wetter buds.

Smell like grass is part of natural weed went you started dry and cure good went you open you containers you will be like WOW this smell so beautiful and look frosty

What size grove bags do you suggest.

That’s really personal preference. I went with 1oz bags because I like to stash some away and cure for a long time.

I wish I had some to stash away. Hopefully I will get enough this grow to do that. I think I am going to have several grows back to back to stock up

I run perpetual so when my flowering plants finish, my veg plants are ready to flower. Shortens the harvest time to every couple months.
