Curing question about humidity

I’ve been curing for 5 days, Humidity in groove bags is 65 and 66 is that to high in curing. Humidity is to high to get out of bags right now to let dry a bit . what should i do? @MidwestGuy @Covertgrower @Myfriendis410 @Newt @ChittyChittyBangin and anyone else with some advice

You can open the bags for a little bit or dump the buds out on parchment paper for a couple of hours until your hygrometers keep 58-62%. Repeat if need.

The bags will work at those humidity levels. If it is dryer outside, you could open them for a few minutes, and then close them back, but if it is more humid outside, have faith in the bags. Did you sweat them before bagging?

You should. Even if it is more humid outside than your 66%. The paper bags will keep that in check. I’ve heard of a small few times that folks got mold once bagged, and the sweating should prevent that and further redistribute the remaining moisture from the inner buds, giving you a more even result.

Edit: And Happy Cannaversary!!!

Happy Cannaversary!

I only cure in glass but anything under 70 is manageable just purge the bag when humidity gets to high. Curing is about preserving the terpenes and moisture in the product until it becomes resinous. Rather than letting it evaporate.

Happy cake day!

I sweat in paper bags. Works great. 65 a tad high to bag. Paper sack rolled closed for day or so. The paper pulls the moisture well. Open 10 minutes a day.
